A commercial disagreement. A shareholder impasse. A business at a turning point. Each calls for a clear understanding of the issues, the people and the options.
01
OUR PRIMARY FOCUS
Commercial mediation
A structured, impartial setting for difficult discussions. We help parties explore their interests, work through differences and seek a practical agreement they can own.
Business and contractual disagreements
Shareholder and partnership tensions
Supplier, customer and payment disputes
Preparation identifies the people, issues and decision-making authority needed for a productive discussion. The mediator facilitates; the parties retain control over whether to settle.
Bring structure to a stalled negotiation. We help clarify the points in dispute, establish a constructive dialogue and coordinate a route towards settlement.
Negotiation support · Stakeholder alignment · Settlement coordination
A clear issue map separates legal positions from commercial priorities and helps identify a suitable sequence for negotiation and specialist advice.
Support through financial, operational or ownership change. We help organise priorities and coordinate the financial, tax and legal work needed for informed decisions.
Business stabilisation · Ownership transitions · Adviser coordination
Cash needs, trading dependencies and stakeholder expectations are brought into one working picture before commercial and formal restructuring options are assessed.
When closure or formal proceedings need to be considered, we help organise the information, stakeholder discussions and specialist input required for the next step.
Solvent company closure · Creditor discussions · Insolvency and bankruptcy coordination
Solvent closure and financial distress require different routes. We help organise records and communications so the appropriate professionals can assess the next steps.
Formal insolvency appointments and regulated legal work require appropriately authorised professionals in the relevant jurisdiction.
From the first conversation to a practical next step, each stage builds on the one before it. We revisit the issues when new information changes the picture.

WHAT THIS STAGE PRODUCES
A shared starting point
A clear outline of the disagreement or business challenge, the key participants and any time-sensitive decisions.
Each briefing links to its original sources. Practical examples are illustrative scenarios; they do not describe client engagements.
04 / UK & INTERNATIONAL
Local context. A wider perspective.
Focused on businesses in England and across the United Kingdom, with an international outlook for matters that cross borders.
Commercial relationships do not always stop at a national boundary. We bring a coordinated approach to discussions involving owners, counterparties and advisers in different jurisdictions.
The applicable legal framework, professional requirements and delivery arrangements are assessed for each matter. Specialist legal, tax and insolvency work is scoped separately with the relevant professionals.
Mediation can help when parties are willing to discuss a disagreement with an impartial third party. An initial conversation helps establish whether the matter and participants are suited to the process. A mediator facilitates discussion; the parties decide whether to agree a settlement.
Can we enquire if proceedings have already started?+
Yes. Tell us the current stage and any deadlines in your initial enquiry. Your legal advisers should continue to manage court obligations while the suitability of a resolution process is considered.
Do you also support company closure and insolvency matters?+
Yes, through business coordination, preparation and stakeholder discussions. Formal liquidation, administration, bankruptcy and other reserved appointments must be handled by appropriately authorised professionals under the applicable law.
What should I include in a first enquiry?+
Your name, business contact details, the jurisdiction and a brief, non-sensitive outline of the situation are enough. Please do not send confidential documents or detailed case material before the engagement and secure communication arrangements are agreed.
How are scope and fees agreed?+
The proposed work, professional roles, fees and engagement terms are discussed and agreed in writing before a mandate begins. Any third-party specialist work is identified separately.
LET’S FIND A WAY FORWARD
